Certified Master Builder
The Certified Master Building Program encourages and promotes professionalism within the home building industry. Members must be professional full-time builders and must meet strict qualifications to earn the certification. Certified Master Builder applicants appear before the membership committee for a personal interview. They must submit the names of five satisfied homeowners, four suppliers, and four subcontractors to gain membership in the Certified Master Builder program, as well as have two peer sponsors within the Certified Master Builder program who can supply information about the members business integrity and construction activity. All Certified Master Builders must maintain an acceptable Financial Certification. Certified Master Builders are required to continue their education to ensure they they keep up-to-date with the latest techniques in home building.

Experience
- Minimum 5 years in the industry + 5 consumer references
- 12 homes or $2,000,000 in sales
- 4 supplier & 4 subcontractor references
- Must re-certify annually

Continuing Education
- Earn 9 credits (Builders & Remodelers)
- Earn 6 credits (Associates)
- Earn 3 credits annually
Conciliation Arbitration
- Must agree to ruling or risk expulsion
