As with any other successful business, Sean Knight's home building business is a success that can be measured against a well-defined business plan.

Seventeen years ago, Sean wanted to use the acquired skills he had learned in framing to start his own framing company. After that was accomplished, he set another goal and started doing some remodeling work on the side. At that stage, the short-term goal became to sell the framing business in order to accomplish the long-term goal: to make building a mainstay.

With the valuable insight he had gained from framing and remodeling, home building was a natural next step for Sean. Both Sean and wife Jacque, who has a degree in interior design, grew up in Fort Worth and knew the real estate market well. In fact they had the foresight to build in Aledo in 1991. His first home was built in Willow Park.

Next, he turned his sights to Weatherford where eight build jobs were sold off a spec in the Diamond Oaks Addition. Sean had made a name for himself in the outlying areas west of Fort Worth and carved a niche for serving buyers looking for a country atmosphere and demanding a custom-built home. His name became recognized for quality and innovation.
